Background: Citrix recently released Citrix Files to the mobile App Stores and our user base had started upgrading from Sharefile. This only issue with this, of course, is that current MDX template was incompatible. Suddenly Sharefile/Content Collaboration was broken. Normally we push updates at weekends but this had to be pushed sooner.
The issues: Citrix Files was incompatible with the Sharefile MDX policy in XenMobile (endpoint management). The only other issue was updating the policy with the New Citrix File MDX file also failed.
Troubleshooting: I tried creating a new policy and this also failed, whereby I now fear my XenMobile Server environment is unstable. I also tried other older MDX files and was surprised none worked.
Solution: This was an issue with my Internet Explorer browser and performing the same actions in Chrome worked. I managed to upgrade the Sharefile MDX to Citrix Files and users were able to use the new application again.
